Fabien has gotten a six month ban for spitting at a ref in a friendly. Six months is getting off lightly in my opinion. There is nothing more disgusting than spitting at someone. Diouf is renowned for it, been caught two or three times for this. Scumbag.

Get this..Barthez will be serving 3 months of his 6 month ban in the close season. So he will be available for selection or the Irish match. Now what is the point of giving a ban to a player in the close season?????

Its only a 3 month ban, the other 3 months are suspended.

Apologies - misread. But it does seem non-sensical to give him a ban during the close season wouldnt you agree?

Eh, France are in our group & any mentalness in their camp well has a bearing on our WC campaign.
