Cillian Lordan's brother, Cathal is in tonight’s FA Youth Cup Final (1st Leg) between Southampton and Ipswich which will be shown live on Sky Sports One 7.30pm.
He's been getting his game with Ipswich youths and doing fairly well.
Good luck to him.
Saints are strong favourites though.

Lordan will start tonight for Ipswich but Billy Clarke from Corks Northside is ruled out with injury and is a big loss...Southampton are favourites but not sure if they would be strong favourites..hopefully Ipswich will win over the two legs considering how many Irish players are being brought through at Portman Road these days..

Great effort.
Saints are good going forward but 2-2 is a great result for the Tractor Boys.
Should be a good return leg on Friday.

Watched the game, Lordon goals were excellent. A host of Irish players but for me Owen Garvan was a class act in the middle of the park for Ipswitch.

Ipswich won 1-0 on the night, 3-2 on Agg.
It went to extra time.
Upson scored with 2 minutes left.
Congratulations to Cathal and the other Irish lads.

Leon Best did well for Southampton too.

interesting note about Best is that in withdrawing from the under 19 squad to play that match cork city player Shane Long was called up
