Try the Albert pub next to the Kop End a few hours before the game.
there might be a few floating about.
Depending on the size of your stag it could be difficult.

Not being smart or anything, but have you tried the ticket office in Anfield?

The best man messed up didn't get his order in untill it was too late. They sold out in a matter of hours. They take orders from months in advance and sell whatever tickets they have left a couple of weeks before each match.

Thanks for your help...I did hear about the pub behind the kop but wasn't sure of the name...Thats a great help.

Stag is only 7 or eight so maybe won't be too difficult

Just a bit of warning about looking for tickets for a group.

It was a few years back but I know people who done something similar, tipped
over to Liverpool for a stag weekend. I think they were a bit naive and under
the impression that you could pay on the gate like GAA matches etc but anyway
they ended up paying a fair whack over the odds for tickets from a tout.

The gang of them arrived up to the turnstiles and low and behold the tickets
were forgeries.

And even with the touts that have genuine tickets, if the word gets out there is a gang out there looking for tickets, prices tend to rise dramatically so split up.

Or failing that go to Tranmere!
went to see tranmere when i was in liverpool a couple of months ago.dear god the football was archaic "head-tennis" rubbish. decided to savour the delights of tranmere v colchester (1-1) as opposed to everton v chelsea.glad i went though.

Or failing that go to Tranmere! Anyone notice how many Scandanavians are attending Premiership matches these days? (Or maybe I always end up sitting beside them?!)

I was on a Scandanavian forum like this and they said the same thing "Notice how many Irish are attending Prem. games these days" :p

May come across a bit wet behind the ears an all that but figured it would be better to get them in pairs all right. I have a coulpe of recent match tickets too so will probably spot a fake. Again thanks for all the info!
