His latest exploits were mentioned in the Irish Abroad Thread, but I though they merited the creation of a thread of his own. He scored his first goal for Hearts' first team yesterday against the Mighty Auchinleck Talbot in the Scottish Cup yesterday: https://www.heartsfc.co.uk/matchzone/98/matchreport/ And then he followed it up with a hat-trick for their reserves today against Greenock Morton: https://www.heartsfc.co.uk/matchzone/34/matchreport/
He definitely has an eye for goal, netting 12 times in 27 appearances on loan at Queen of The South and Dunfermline

Keena came off the bench today in an away loss to Motherwell in the SPL. Shaughnessy and Mulraney started, though both were substituted. Shaughnessy far earlier though on 56 minutes. Judging from Twitter, it was down to his performance as opposed to anything else.

Some great quotes in the following article from his manager such as "Aidan was great but he ran the wrong way when he scored didn’t he? He should have ran the other way to the other corner where all the nutters are!”.

"It'll give him the best chance to get to the level he should be playing at." That's a nice quote from Challinor. He obviously has faith in Leena getting up the ladder and he's under no illusions that Hartlepool is a stepping stone.

i like Keena, good work rate, wholehearted, good finisher, both poacher's goals and from distance, not sure he has the pace or mobility to be more than an SPL / League 1 type striker but early days for the lad and you never know really what can happen

Seems to have found it tough to move forward since the last post on this thread - moved from Hartlepool to Falkirk shortly after and didn't seem to have a great first season there - but he came off the bench against East Kilbride in the Challenge Cup tonight and scored the third goal: https://www.falkirkfc.co.uk/2021/08/11/match-report-falkirk-v-east-kilbride/

After a slow start, failing to net in his first ten games at Cheltenham, Keena has started to find some goalscoring form, grabbing a brace against Wycombe yesterday - this brought his recent tally to five in nine games. Hopefully something to build on for next season: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/65357106

Scores again to close out the season with six in his last ten games. He has bounced around throughout his career so far but has always scored goals when he got settled somewhere. Hopefully he can go up a level in the next couple of years. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/65439615
