Damn 'n' blast, Kerr's Tribe, you tripped me up again and I really thought I was on a winner with that post. I'm just not able for ya. Bet I enjoyed my dinner more, so I did, so I did. Now I'm annoyed.
By the way, what's strangeirish on about? (above)

Well you must be a modern man and in touch with your feminine side... which is supposed to be good I think... now where did I leave that problem page..... :p

Reading CollegeTillIDie started me on a search for sexual slang and came across a neat slag which might be added to the spectrum of abuse used on Foot.ie. "Percy-Pants" = effeminate man. Now there's another term to annoy people with. Not quite Arnold'd "girly boy", but twill do. :D

You still here, Kerrs Tribe, I thought you'd be in bed now, fast asleep for a good hard days work tomorrow. As I said to M@gnitude, I want plenty of you students back over here, working well-paid jobs therefore paying PLENTY of taxes which will be absorbed by govenrment and passed on to fcukers like me to continue the lifestyles which we've become accustomed to. Don't let me down now!!
I wasn't hitting on CollegeTillIDie - just SHARING :D various aspects of the English language with him!
The only help, in THAT area, CollegeTillI Die could do for me was if he had a female friend who was (a) over-forty, (b) over-sexed and, through his good offices, (c) over-here! :D :p

Well, she's had a good cry, so she is recovering. Counselling is SO annoying, mainly because I'm not very good at it. I usually end up saying the wrong thing and making things worse :o Ooe-er, this relationship break-up thing is getting contagious, so many people I know have had break-ups recently, even unexpected ones, maybe I'm for the boot next! :(

Nice kind thoughful person like you, Kerrs Tribe? Nah! You were there for the poor lass and that always helps. :) By the way, that foreign boyfriend you keep telling us about - hope his surname is Abramovich!!! In that case, hang on in there, lady. :D Nighty, nighty to youse all, nurse is about ready to put me to sleep

I know every bus is a no-smoking one, but ar$eholes take no notice of this including the busdrivers and the bus company. I constantly have to endure smelly ba$tards puffing their guts out with no respect for anyone else. The £200 fine sticker on the window has i am sure never been enforced. I don't know what you were trying to clear up Brendan,

:D

Sorry KT. I just happened to be working on that piece of legislation at the moment, I can confirm however that the £200 fine sticker is no longer applicable. That was under the Tobacco (Health Promotion and Protection) Regulations 1995. This has now be revoked by the legislation I earlier referred to. The fine is now €3,000 KT and has indeed been enforced.

Now back to the Rats and Mice Destruction Act 1919 for me.

joey's no worries then, thats just cause you dont have experience in doing enough coding, that just comes with doing more coding dont worry trust me!!!!

not meaning to sound big headed but i nearly failed first year of college because i was pooh at java and had to resit the programming test three times, java is way easier than c btw, but plugged away and now im even java certified. so trust me its just practice, the more mistakes you make the more you learn!!

hope i dont sound patronising there, but just trust me programming is one of those things you dont (generally!!) have a flair for its just practice, practice, practice and you start to think more logically ( and get less, not always mind, mistakes).

Cheers for the advice Paul. I know where to come if I'm ever stuck with a program ;)

There are only so many times you can refuse to join the 500 club. They never quite got near 500 Chris remembering the list of members you sent me.

I sort of dug my own grave really when I didn't agree with sectarian chants on the terraces at Finn Park v Shamrock Rovers.

Unfortunate you shall be for just a little time longer. The end is nigh for smoky pubs and restaurants in the Bonnie one. You could of course move to Norway or I believe Thailand or Bangladesh if its smoke free your after, or alternatively just come home.

I believe it is early next year the ban comes into Scotland, but I am not sure if it is as strict a ban as in Ireland and Norway. Hopefully most European countries will follow suit.

No one mentioned the 500 Club...

Since you have done though I can tell you that things have improved vastly on the 500 Club front and the membership is well on its' way to reaching the 500 target!

You weren't at the Rovers game, there was no sectarian chanting at the game. How dare you make such an allegation. Back it up, gone fire away..

There was a player booed by the singing crew - Mc Court. Booed for the craic 'cus he's a Derry man.

Hope you enjoy your time supporting Sligo!

I think that I've commented on this before but anyway its worth repeating; go and watch a small football team (e.g. Hendon or Harrow etc.) and you can get a decent pint at half time but go to a multi million pound organisation (thats you ManUre, Arsenal, Man City and Blackburn) and you are served 'alcohol's' (and I use that term losely) version of fizzy p*ss.
Why can't big clubs who can spring for most things for their players do at least one good thing for those who pay a small fortune to watch them and get decent beer in?

Oooo and abroad its even worse on at least four occasions now I have been tricked with non alcohol lager (and I'm in denial about Real Mallorjca but if I'm honest I was probably served with two pints of it there as well! :o .) Someone should point out that non alcohol lager has no place in a football ground.

Got really annoyed by people at a cash point today. Big queue behind them, and it turns out the machine is out of cash. But instead of turning round and just saying there is no cash, they walk off, and your left queing for nothing cos people dont bother being polite anymore

Also add to that people who walk really really slow on Oxford Street. Its take double the time to pop out for lunch cos of those people

i think thats great. another good one is when you have just got your money out and tell the people at the back that "the atm machine isnt working"...hehe

pat o not all people drink that attend football matches!!!!

ya people walking slow on the way to the tube is really annoying as well and then look at you like you have two heads because you actually want to make an effort in getting to the tube as quickly as possible instead of missing the one that is just arriving in the station!

Huh, the type of people who want all seater stadiums, family atmosphere at football and would complain to a steward about swearing. Actually thats another thing that annoys me.

(recovering alcoholics are exempt from the above sweeping statements - and pineapple stu as at least he makes the effort to drink vast amouts at games even if it isn't alcohol!)
