when u sit at a bus stop and this eejit, a strange one is sitting beside and you just know he is going to start talking complete bolloc*s and you have to listen to him   his whole life story. Go away!!

I was on a flight a few years back from Chicago to Boston and after 3 mad days/nights in Chicago with only a few hours sleep I was looking forward to sleeping on the plane but no this guy sat beside me and “your from Ireland my great grand daddy came blah, blah etc.

He didn’t shut up the whole way even when I did nod off a few seconds he kept yapping (wearing a Donegal jersey gave it away that I was from Ireland) .

People who turn the page of their newspaper when I'm still half way through an article. :D

People who look over your shoulder in an internet cafe. Yes that means YOU person behind me!
Quality :D

Oh yeah Daily Mail readers and Express readers and their snobbish attitudes. Your just Sun readers with a GCSE.

Actually Tories and their ill disguised rascism really get to me.

:D My usual approach is to move the paper up and down and from side to side. Makes it impossible for anyone else to read it. :p

I hate it when I need to clear my nose but don't have a tissue, so I have to "snot off" discreetly somewhere, and I can't figure out where the snot went.

Amazing where that snot gets to. It's like it doesn't believe in ballistics.

I also hate ring-tones & people downloading crappy tunes on their phones. Those ringtone ads are really annoying & such a scam. Few weeks ago some teenager was playing a "song" on her phone at back of the bus & like playing it inside a tin can.

UTV's grand prix highlights and my video player. I was out yesterday when the Grand Prix was on and taped it but the tape is now somehow stuck in the player and it won't play, eject rewind or anything. There are few things more frustrating than having the tape there in front of you but not being able to play it or even take it out and watch it somewhere else.

I was then left with the UTV highlights at a quarter past midnight. They managed to waste about 15 of the 55 minutes with pre- and post-race waffle and about 10 minutes with 'breaks'. Ad breaks would be bad enough but 3 minutes of a blank screen saying "back soon" or something is incredibly annoying. Why can't they just show more of the race instead of this crap. Christ I was in foul humour all evening.

I feel a bit better after that. :D

You missed such a brilliant GP.
It was fantastic, one of the most exciting I've seen in years.
Gripping stuff.
Such a pity you missed it, you being such a big fan and all. :D

Thanks Peader, you're making me feel a lot better now! It looked good on the highlights, which only made things worse. At least they showed nearly all the last 7 or 8 laps after Schumacher caught Alonso.

For some reason, a person stamping a cigarette butt onto a pavement does not annoy me as much as when people throw their butts out car windows. This morning I stared at a guy who did this, and as he drove away I saw he had a "No Incinerator" sticker in his back window.

Like most people I was f**ing amazed that they went to a comercial break. I was livid and e-mailed their duty office. This was their reply, which arrived today:

ITV would like to apologise for cutting to a break at the climax of yesterday's Grand Prix and we are sorry that it affected your enjoyment of the race.

As you are probably aware, we always try to cut to adverts during the least contentious parts of the action and update viewers with anything they may have missed as soon as possible after the commercials.

ITV is contractually obliged to include a certain number of adverts during the race - we are a commercial channel and Formula One is a commercial sport.

On Sunday, the race was very exciting throughout and it was a tough call as to when to cut to adverts - for example, we didn't want to interrupt the race when Jensen Button was in the lead. Our production team make these decisions and have done so since we started F1 coverage in 1997, by and large they get it right.

In the event we delayed taking the break until the last moment but had to do so with three laps to go. Yesterday's race was a particularly difficult one to call as Michael Schumacher caught Fernando Alonso so spectacularly. It appeared that he would take the lead at any moment and we were reluctant to cut away from the action.

Unfortunately, the pass moment never came and we were forced to take the scheduled break too close to the finish. Coverage returned for the final lap to see Schumacher and Alonso battling for the lead. We know it is of little consolation but their positions didn't change hands during the advert break and we screened the final three laps in their entirety after the race finished.

Nonetheless, we are well aware that the timing of this advert upset many viewers and can only apologise to you again.

Whilst the strategy for cutting to adverts is not an exact science, we will do our utmost to ensure that this scenario does not happen again in future and your comments have been passed on to the production team plus the Controller of ITV Sport.

Thank you for writing in to us.
