Said I'd start a new thread on this (http://foot.ie/showthread.php?p=250275#post250275) rather than drag the Monaghan game into our minds over and over! :)

I've only seen him once competitively but I wasn't singing his praises after that night

That was the Drogheda game, wasn't it? If you'd have been singing anyone's praises after that, you'd have been down to the men in white coats fairly sharp! :p He seems to be a very solid player - gets the ball and plays it simple. Better than I remember him, to be honest! (He was out of the side for the run-in last season - after the Harps win, in fact.) Looks a bit more creative than I thought too.

Wow you really want to stick on this one don't you and get me to change my mind. Well tough, I am still firmly of the opinion that young Dicker isn't ready for this standard yet.

Lads

The lad has played fewer than 20 first team games. Give him a chance.
And if you are really good about giving him that chance, I might introduce ye to his cute sister. ;)

Not really. Just want to get a bit of talk going on the forum. Been very quiet of late... :)

I can't contribute much as I have only been to a friendly this season. Looking forward to finally going to a game next week. :D Hopefully Dicker will develop into a good player, but then if he does, he'll be gone.
