just imagine the amount of already printed t-shirts & mugs etc that have been printed/manufactured with the wrong date for the wedding that's been put off til saturday.

i'd say there's a few people badly stung by it.

i was watching a bit on TV and they sid that those mugs etc with the wrong dates will actually be worth more in the long run, so people might not be too badly stung afterall. :D

Well to be fair, anyone who has millions of royal mugs etc, IMO it serves them right if they get stung :D ;)

True story, there was an English cricketer, Ashley Giles, he was a spin bowler and a company had some mugs supposed to say "King of Spin", ended up saying "Ashley Giles: King of Spain"... the whole thing became a trend, they had "King of Spain" T-Shirts etc made too.

was'nt there a gaah county going for 5 in a row all irelands (cork or kerry i think) and in the 5th game the opposition were deemed to be a pushover.

well the county concerned got the t-shirts printed and actually recorded a single "five in a row".well you d'ont need me to tell you what happened in the 5th final but there was a lot of egg on a lot of faces :D

I think it was Kerry. It's not uncommon I'm remember reading about something similar in McCarthy's first autobiography "Captain Fantastic". Celtic were playing a Rangers in a Scottish Cup final and there were a lot of Rangers fans wearing "Treble champions" but then went on to lose the game. I'm sure there are plenty more examples.

You've got to ask whether you give a toss......
