Thomas Heary's injury has turned out to be worse than expected, and the defender will be out of action for at least two months, possibly longer. Surgeon's had to wait to perform a scan, because of severe swelling and tests have revealed more than one injury. Apart from muscle damage, there is bone avulsion (yep, bone avulsion), where the tendons have come away from the bone and taken a piece of bone with them. There is also a suspected tear in the cruciate ligament. Thomas will undergo more tests and possible exploratory surgery later this week.

Meanwhile, Dominic Foley and Tony Grant look certain to return to action this weekend after returning to training, while Gareth Farrelly is also hopeful of a return.

Lokks like were knackered at the back now if Ken Oman and Jimmy Aggrews performance on friday is anything to go by!
