Roy Keane is the top earner in Irish soccer, with a personal fortune of €43m, according to the newly-published Sunday Times rich list announced this weekend.
Keane is miles clear of Ireland’s next highest-earner in the game – Damien Duff, boosted by his big-money move to Chelsea in 2003, trails in in second with €11m – a little over a quarter the wealth of the Manchester United captain.
