Penalties so. Would still fancy Harps to beat either side, mind.

Goes to a shootout. Quite the achievement to get that far from Shels. They won a shoot-out two weeks ago and all.

Drogs win it

Drogs were very disappointing. Bad choices against a battling 9 man shels. Poor discipline cost Shels dearly. The first was too harsh enough yellows though but the second seemed a shocking tackle. Hyland was stretchered off. A good night for harps with it going to extra time. Can't take anything for granted though

Shels did the hard part, but not enough. How are they actually getting on, finance wise? The First Division still isn't anywhere you want to get too used to.

Switching my preference to Drogs. Longer away trip for me, but still doable!

Those 9 men in that 83 minutes put in the most gutsy organised display I've ever seen from a Shels team, textbook stuff for other teams as to how to achieve something with 2 less players. When the winning penalty went in some of the Drogheda players didn't even join in the celebrations and were straight over to the Shels players shaking their hands which was commendable

The decision to stick out a second yellow after 10 minutes for what didn't even look a foul without any prior verbal warning was BS from Tom Connolly. Other Drogheda players were up to persistent fouling throughout the match. Him and his linesman also failed to give even a free kick for Lyons lunging studs up over the ball minutes before English got sent off for his own ridiculous challenge.

I was actually hoping to see shels back in the premier, believe it or not!
You can never have enough Dublin teams in the league, especially for a lazy ba$tard like me.
Still, I can condole myself with the fact that boez blew a chance to get to a cup final. It seems she wasn't wearing, after all 😁

We have UCD back, let Shels stay there

Nah having Shels back would just be another Dublin Derby for us to screw up :)
I think Harps will win the playoffs following a Paddy Mc Screamer in the last minute of the second leg.

Assuming that happens a strong UCD team and a revitalised Harps will make the scrap from mid table down next year a lot more compelling than this year.
