Just looking at the ratings for a couple of weeks ago on Irish TV.
http://www.medialive.ie/Television/top-tw.html
Do people just leave RTE1 on all day or is that they don't have RTE2. 18 programs on RTE1 had higher viewing figures than the highest on RTE2 which was the Wales v Ireland match. I mean how could Winning Streak, No Frontiers, House Hunters, Off the Rails, ER, etc. have thousands more viewers than any other program on RTE 2 last week?
I thought the fact the Ireland match was on BBC would have played a part but 522,000 people watch Eastenders.
On a side note, only 7,000 Irish people watch The OC. I think thats a great show. :)
