limerick supporters should strike now while the iron is hot, good atmosphere building down there and decent crowds, Galway Utd and Sligo have supporters Trusts they are models of Northampton Towns Trust in the uk.
they are not supporters clubs, but they get involved in the club in different areas and aim is to secure the future of the club with the help of fans

Yes a supporters trust is a good thing thats emerging in football, you only have to look at clubs like Bury and the newly formed AFC Wimbledon in England. Its a good way for supporters to get more involved in their club and have a greater voice. I don't think at the moment though that many supporters would be interested in starting a trust considering what Drew is doing, they are quite happy with the way things are going as am I. It is something that that the suppporters club should look into and investigate the possibilities of it because you will never know what will happen in the future.
