Astrology informs us that we are entering the Age of Aquarius, a sustained period of harmony and understanding

"Unlike proceeding rounds this particular juncture has an unspoiled, almost virginal quality."

I'm loving the 'virgin' word...*sigh* :D

And the still unrivalled

The aforementioned professional manner would need to include a serious sign of intent to dismantle the ethos of self-interest that still binds the testicles of Irish professional football.

I think we should use that in a chant versus Shels some time. To the tune of "your not singing anymore"...though obviously you have to sing fairly quickly.

"Your ethos of self-interest binds the testicles of Irish professional football....your ethos of self-interest still binds the testicles of Irish professional football".

Maybe not.

On tv3 on monday he even used some "big word" which seemed totally out of place (i.e. never heard someone use in context he did) but strangely made sense i think...

Still don't know what he on about in last fridays programme.

I’m not sure he did either.

Or to put put through my Ricorising Thesaurus. :D

One is not persuaded that the scribe of the aforementioned musings enclosed in Fridays programme did moreover.

Extemporaneous? He's fond of that one. Made (ostensible) sense in the context in which he employed it, but still counts as another example of totally gratuitous circumlocution.

Yup thats the one alright. Can't ever remember hearing anyone else use that word in any context.

Dunno if he'll be any good as manager for city but he definitely brings some class to the league.

Jeez could you imagine Rico texting.

"The sky is extemporaneous" :D

one of my favourite movie lines. In Roxanne with Steve Martin, it's what the dumb guy comes out with when his prompting device fails.

I actually think the man makes perfect sense, I have no difficulty understanding him or the points he makes. :o

He is such an erudite man and I think it's great to see a little philosophy brought to bear on this league, it makes such a refreshing change from "Dis, Dat, Dese and Dose" merchants like King and Scully.

I can see his point in most cases, I just find his language amusing because its so different to the cliches and soundbites we're used to
