Does anyone know if Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere is getting released on DVD at all?

I thought it was class and had me in stitches most of the time. For anyone who doesn't know what it is, it was a spin off comedy about the Phoenix Nights duo Max and Paddy written by and starring Peter Kay and Patrick McGuinness.

Checked a couple of sites like Play but no mention anywhere

Cracking OG in the tsunami game at the weekend. Did what I want to see every footballer do, collapse on the ground and looked like he wanted to dig a hole and bury himself in it!

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was about Max Power and Plastic Paddy and why they are rarely seen on foot.ie these days. :D

" it was a spin off comedy about the Phoenix Nights "

excuse my ignorance, but ive seen most of the max and paddys ( hence my bad joke above drinkfeckarse, when they are singing and he goes paddy and max! ) , but i dont ever remember phoenix nights what was it???

can someone also tell me why i cant use the quote button anymore and i click the smileys and nothing happens???

Phoenix nights is where Max and Paddy are from. They were the bouncers at the club that Peter Kay's Character ran. Very funny. Well worth a look.

"
ya with the little bird as the girlfriend??? thats what i thought but i thought that was just in one or two of the max and paddy shows??ah well obviouislly not.

Ok, im lost on the little bird reference  but its been a while since i watched it, so maybe its just me. :)

Max and paddy were in it week in week out. Part of the whole Phoenix nights thing was that Peter Kay played a rake of the characters himself, including Max.

While Max And Paddy was good it was nowhere near Phoenix Nights. Kay and whoever plays Paddy wrote Max And Paddy, while you had in my opinion better writers for Phoenix Nights, Kay(with whoever plays) Jerry "The Saint" and Ray Vaughan. I think that Kay is now back writing with Jerry The Saint which is good news. Max And Paddy could have been a lot worse, when Brendan O Carroll appeared in the first episode I was worried that he was going to be a regular for the rest of the series, but thankfully that was his only appearance.

"whoever plays paddy"

Patrick mcguiness is the lad, he played in the tsunami match at the weekend.

Fella I work with got in to a bit a scuffle with him in the Dominican Republic playing Water polo. Takes his sports very seriously apparently
