The Glastonbury Festival will be a much quieter place this year, with revellers partying listening to headphones, organisers said.
In a bid to keep within strict noise limits, festival-goers wishing to party through the night in the dance tent will be given special “silent disco” headsets.
Thousands of clubbers will dance to world-famous DJs at the Somerset event - but all the neighbours will hear is the sound of shuffling feet.
The system is designed so that the music can carry on late into the night without infringing on the restrictions imposed by the festival’s licence.
