Just a quick point.
Yesterday Alan Bennett got a nasty facial injury after a clash with Deccie. When O'Hanlon the muppet eventually stopped play both physios came on. (Pat's physio offered to treat Deccie, nice one, fairplay award for the week) All this took a few minutes and after repeated calls for a stretcher Pat Dolan had to bring one on himself. (I think it's the one he uses to bring his food from the chipper at half time :D ) Between them they carried Alan off and away to the dressing room for treatment. About 5 minutes later the St Johns Ambulance guys turned up. An old bloke in his 70's and a little fart in his pre pubescent teens. One Pat's fan said, "about bleedin time for ya" and the old bloke went back to him saying "what are you talkin about". Absolutely no interest in helping Alan. After a while Alan appeared with a big white pad taped to his eye. I think someone decided that it would be better to send him to the hospital.
My point is that he'd have walked to St James' Hospital in the time that it took the Long Johns Ambulance to get to him.
O'Hanlon ya tosser, a head injury means you stop the game.

yeah i saw that as I was right across from it. dolan was giving the st john ambulance a bit of hassle about it.

it was funny though dolan bringing on the strecher though.

is bennett the unluckiest player i have seen for cork this year or what? - o.gs, sending offs, injuries.............

Agree entirely. I don't usually get worked about referees as I don't belive they do anything deliberately against a side but the complete ineptitude of Dick O'Hanlon seems i'll be looking out for him more usual.

Obviously he bored slumming it at eL level & just in ir for the European trips. I'd be very interested to see what the referees observer report was like for yesterday.

It's a pity people can't look at these games and say the ref had a bad one and do something about it.

O'Hanlon isn't the most consistant guy but even he should know that any head injuries should be treated seriously. It's not as if Bennett was faking it - one look should have confirmed that.

He was able to walk to the ambulance unaided. I wished him good luck and he said cheers and seemed ok. Saying that though, you could see the blood stains through his hair on a good bit of his head. Hopefully he wont be concussed. He had a big a$$ patch over his eye though.

i firmly believe that dick ohanlon IS biased against cork city. a lot of it may be down to the abuse he got over his ****-ups in inchicore a few years back, but the guy has made too many "mistakes" for them all to be genuine in my book.
