Dundalk FC have declared that United Park in Drogheda will be the home venue for the forthcoming matches with Dublin City on the 5th April and Kildare County on Saturday 9th April. This development came about due to the Eircom League request for a definite venue for these matches fourteen days in advance. This leaves the club with the possibility that while the Oriel Park pitch could well be in place and ready to host the Dublin City match but due to Eircom League regulations the match will take place in Drogheda. It is unclear at this time if the match can be switched back to Oriel Park if the surface is ready at this time.
