Without a doubt the best game I've EVER played on the gamecube, and already in my favourite three games ever (Pro Evolution Soccer 4 and Mario Kart being the other 2).
The improvements made over the old resis are numerous, the viewpoint is now fixed entirely behind leon's shoulder (yes, the same leon from Resi 2), the enviornments are now entirely in 3D (quite freaky some of them are too), controls have been revamped, there's a new inventory system, a couple of ideas borrowed from the fantastic "Ico" on PS2, and a frankly quite excellent new feature allowing you to buy new weapons and upgrades from a travelling salesman at various points throughout your journey..
No zombies in this one, just some scary feckin villagers with a deep dark secret..
Graphics are amazing too, among the best i've seen on a home console..
Two discs, i'm still on the first one after about 8 hours play..
If you havent got a gamecube then you should get one just for this game.. you can probably pick it up withe Resi 4 for about 100 euros if you shop around..
