Can anyone enlighten me on this new boundary wall? Do I understand it right? that the road is going to be widened first. There will also be a 2m wide footpath as well as parking for cars outside the footpath, and facing towards the ground. If that’s the case the wall will be in a hell of a long way from its present position.

It's not on that picture Francis. He is talking about the wall at the entrance(main gate).

This week's champion have a full story on this topic. The council are funding the project after years of having their ears chewed by the residents from Rose Hill and general area. In return for having the wall built "FOC" Rovers are 'giving away' two metres of an area spanning the length of the ground from Jinks Avenue to Tracey Avenue along Church Hill end of the ground. The wall will first be built inside the existing wall and then the wall and red tins will come tumbling down. According to the report in the champion the work will happen during this present season. So a whole new face lift for the grounds which is badly needed you'll agree.

Its about time that the council started giving rovers a bit of financial support.
