According to this German website, Claire O'Riordan has signed for MSV Duisburg. A fantastic move for her and one that can only enhance her football career. For Wexford, Claire has been one of the most committed and determined players ever to don the shirt, and carried the attacking threat for the WYW team on her own in so many matches. Claire owes us nothing and we owe her a lot. Thanks very much, Claire. I'm sure all at Wexford will follow your future career most closely.

Got 75 minutes yesterday for MSV Duisburg in friendly against Buer. They seem to have won 22-0. Based on Claire's position in the team-sheet, she appears to be playing as a defender to which Irish manager, Colin Bell, suggested she was always more suited.

Played the full 90 minutes for Duisburg in 0-0 friendly against Twente Enschede on Friday and a further 90 minutes in 2-1 friendly win on Sunday against Arminia Bielefeld.
