With the possible departure of Ollie & a few imminent retirements heres what we left with for next season sytarting with current squad members who have played a 1st team game.

Goalkeepers:
Mooney, Devine

Defense:
Coughlan, Napier, O'Rourke, Carey, Horgan

Midfield:
Buckley, O'Grady, Bennet, Mulconroy (barely), Colin O'Brien maybe?)

Forwards:
Mulligan, Colin P, Hartigan, O'Flynn

I know theres a few youths/reserves on the fringes but they haven't played an eL game yet. Only barely 14 outfield players means we need another 4-5 new players minimum. Bringing up more 17-19 year olds would mean players like Carey would be veterans.

That team could almost enter the u-21 league allowing afew overage players ;)

[sorry slow day]

As I've maintained all season that a City team without Ollie C would be at best a mid table outfit, might this mean that if he leaves our more ambitious minded players might also follow suit and leave for Dublin.
Can we be confident that the likes of Devine (not Mooney because he's proven to be loyal to the cause already), O'Grady or Mulligan will stay around?

We'd have a team of great potential but would seriously struggle next season.

I would be surprised if Mulligan stays on. Murphy has treated him badly and I've heard that he is one of the many players that do not like the 'up-and-under' style of play that they have been forced to play.
