Cabinteely have taken Animal bars and put Cabinteely FC wrapping on them instead.

You know they're Animal bars because they're the same shape and have lions on them.

Best damn league in the world.

Due reward for being so nice to referees!

Two Bray players after colliding and one in a really bad way. Horrific injury to his foot. Ambulance on the pitch now.

Bit of pay back for Rovers in Dalymount with a late winner if the result sticks. Bohs being well dragged in to the scrap with Limerick and Sligo. Derry's form has totally deserted them, be interesting to hear what Shiels has to say! Pats have put in a decent shif but Cork sitting very deep with 11 men behind the ball for the last 25 minutes.

That doesnt sound good at all - not at all meant in a smart way but I hope Bray havent shirked off keeping players insurance up to date if players themselves arent covered through PFAI membership.

It wasn’t good at all, his foot looked like it was facing in a very unnatural direction.

The game itself was a complete stroll and we should’ve scored another five at least.

Great result for Drogs away to Galway , I thought a draw would be the best we could get as Galway are a very good side. Delighted 😀

The last two ? Really ? Pats keeper goes up for a corner and the ball trickles into the empty net when it breaks. Second goal was a lovely finish, granted, but we should have had a free in the middle of the park before it happened. Still no idea what the peno was for. I was a fair distance away, was it handball ?

Disappointed overall not to get a draw out of it. We had a lot of the play in the second half particularly, but didn't really create enough I suppose.

Bit of an upset in Stradbrook, helped by the worst pitch and the worst referee I've seen in a long time.

That Stradbrook pitch is unplayable; it's really a disgrace. 2½ feet was the highest bobble I saw - basically a ground pass bouncing up to groin height at no notice. Ridiculous stuff. Yes, it's the same for both sides, but you don't want a game against a crap team to be reduced a lottery.

Then the ref. **** me, he hadn't a clue. His top three -

> Two Cabo players collide from a corner. One ends up off the pitch with bad cramp or a tight hamstring. Proceeds to roll back onto the pitch and get treatment for 2 minutes - all while we should be playing on against ten men
> Absolute leg breaker tackle from Cabo = just a yellow card.
> UCD keeper collides with Cabo forward outside the box; Cabo forward gets his head to the ball before being flattened and actually scores - ref gives a free in and books our keeper. Like, how much more of a goal scoring opportunity do you have to deny than an actual goal? To add insult to injury, we had no sub keeper (this was our sub keeper), and he pulled off an incredible save from the free kick.

And yet despite that, and the late Drogheda winner (was holding out for a draw there obviously), and the disappearance of the sun around kick off, twas a great LoI evening. A good cathartic rant with mates, still top of the table, and Cabo Animal bars.

Don't think there's many could put it in the net from that distance, but lovely was probably the wrong word. Didn't see the penalty.

Pat's had plenty of possession but I thought we were solid and didn't give away many chances. If ye're shot off the bar had gone in it would have been a different story though.

I had no idea what you were talking about until the pic you posted...imagine the head scratching when not knowing an animal bar was chocolate!!

I didn't realise there were people out there who didn't know what an Animal bar was!

Horrendous injury. Looked totally innocuous until he lay down. Hope Aaron (?) Makes a speedy recovery.

Andrew McGovern who had replaced Gary McCabe early in the 1st half.Collided witH his own player right in front of the shed.Sickening to see.Speedy recovery to the fella.

Stroll in the park for Dundalk but seeing that injury happen was just awful.

Bohs worst performance of the season but good enough to merit a draw against a terrible Rovers side.
Lucky escape for the guy working in the chip van down the Rovers end .Someone spotted he had a Bohs tattoo and they rounded on him like a scene from the Evil Dead.Gardai had to weigh in to save him.

Another derby lead thrown away. Shams booing their own players at FT. Great night at Dalymount in front of a full house including Irish team and management
Only thing missing was a Bradley interview, long live 'the project"

Explains why it so hard to persuade some football fans to go to LOI games. Its a huge attraction for psychos though.

just the facts Jack Nothing anyone could object to in that post.

poor game last night but good atmosphere in the Jodi Stand. Draw was a fair result as neither team did enough to win it (or indeed to lose it). Overall officials were OK, missed hand ball (by Lopez) that led to their goal but Dan Byrne could have seen red for a poor challenge (he was subbed shortly after).
usual 100 miles an hour derby game, plenty of effort but little much (bar patches) of quality.

Shamrock Rovers are as predictable as the Irish Climate itself. Must be maddeningly frustrating to be a fan of theirs this Season. It's going to have to be a long haul of patience from the fans and the board over Bradley, maybe he'll get another season or two as he is young and a work in progress, but there will have to be some actual progress shown sooner rather than later.

Bradley is not a work-in-progress, he hasn't a clue what he is doing, the only reason he hasn't been sacked yet is because there is a desperate dearth of reliable unattached managers available to replace him ever seen in LOI history

The only reason? You mean Rovers want to replace him, but don't think there are decent replacements available?

They should know about Harry Kenny & Paul Doolin for starters and theres about a dozen qualified coaches already in the 'project'

Now now, if total hoofball says that's the reason then I'm sure he knows more than everybody involved in the club.

It's almost like Ezekial wants to keep laughing at Rovers.
