Glenavon 0-1 Ards
Both sides had chances in the opening half and Paul Millar had a good shot stopped by Paul Rice in the Glens goal before Gerard McMahon had a bullet of an effort saved by Neil Inglis at the opposite end.
Things became difficult for the home side after the interval when Johnny Wright was shown the red card but Gary McKinistry almost put the ten men ahead with a shot off the bar soon after.
Andrew Massey hit the bar for Ards before Dave Rainey hit the winner right at the death.
Coleraine 1-0 Glentoran
An Ian McCoosh goal after only seven minutes was all that separated these sides on the day.

A Graham Arthur penalty on 32 minutes gave Newry the lead before Colm Magill equalized before the break.
Crusaders went ahead through a Stephen Baxter goal and when Magill notched a second it looked up for Newry.
However, Arthur grabbed his second and Raymond Byrne hit an equaliser before Stuart McPherson hit an 82nd minute winner.
