Anyone interested in chatting about this league. It's really coming good over the past few seasons with loads of clubs developing their facilities etc. Clubs like Skyvalley Rovers, Ballinasloe Town, Cam Celtic, the Athlone based clubs have all got first class set ups.
Remember Cloonfad's runs in the FAI Junior Cup a few seasons back against Cherry Orchard etc.
While I'm at it, if any of you lot are ever in Navan, check out the Meath and Distrcit League HQ on the Trim Road - fantastic set up.
Football is really buzzing at Junior/schoolboy/girls level throughout the country.
Dont let the bull****ters on RTE tell you otherwise when they whinge about soccer's poor facilities.

Football in Roscommon is still the poor relation to Mayo, Galway and Sligo/Leitrim. Yes, there has been wonderful occasions like Ballinasloe Town (from Co. Galway) winning the Connacht Cup last year and Cloonfad Utd (in Co. Mayo, Co. Galway, Co. Roscommon) having their wonderful cup run a few years ago. Some of the clubs are from Co. Galway, therefore it is not truly a Roscommon League.

How are Dynamo Rooskey doing these days? My former boss is from Roscommon - remember him once commenting on the "best-named football team around"!
