With the new season set to kick off next Saturday, a number of supporters have suggested that we should hold some sort of a paint and tidy day in order to give Finn Park a wee Spring-clean before the new campaign gets underway.

With this in mind, a "paint and tidy day" will take place this coming Sunday, 13th March. It is planned to get underway at 9.00am on Sunday so that we can have a full day to get things sorted.

The things that have been planned so far are:

* Painting of the wall at the front of the stand and around the dug out areas which are in particularly bad condition. With new guttering set to be put on the stand, this is actually a worthwhile exercise!

* Painting of the outside of the clubhouse on Navenny Street, provided the portacabins get transferred.

* Painting of the wall at the back of the stand and re-drawing of the "Finn Harps F.C." writing and crest on this wall. As there will be an exit made to the front of the seating area we may have to review how this is done.

* Painting of the outside of the parts of the clubhouse inside the ground itself.

* Touching up the sign that is above the gate on Navenney Street

* General tidying of areas such as the River End, seating area etc

As you will see there is a fair amount to be done, so all volunteers will be greatly welcome. Already I have had a few people expressing an interest and hopefully we can recruit a few more.

Even if you can't drag yourself out of bed for 9, pop in some time later on in the day.

For information about any of these points get in touch with either myself or Mr D.

That the Finn Park "Paint and Tidy" day, this Sunday at 9.00.
