Report already available on the website on this pre-season friendly match. Wexford played better than against Waterford and had a better shape from the start. Wexford also looked fitter than Bray at this early stage of the season. Couple of the goals conceded by Bray were from bad errors so it wasn’t a 3-0 game at half-time. The absence of any goal-threat from Bray, other than a decent left-winger, would be a big worry for them and Owen McCormack and Ross Kenny weren’t put under any pressure in the middle of Wexford’s back four. Second half was poor as both sides made a lot of changes. Aaron Dobbs of Wexford already looks a different player with a couple of goals under his belt – he could be a surprise this season. Manager Damian Locke has a couple of attacking options with Shane Barnes, Danny Doyle and Eoin Wall all looking lively alongside Dobbs. The conundrum for Locke will be to get the rest of the team to support his promising young attacking players.
