Pender, Keely, Hedderman, B.Kelly
McGill, Shiels, Whelehan, A. Kelly
Vaughan, Gorman

Expect regular rotation of the centre-halves (Keely, Hedderman, Deans, Griffin), mildly vertiginous spinning on the wings (Alans Kelly and Mulcahy, Dave McGill, Ray Scully, Michael Holt) and a veritable carousel up-front (Vaughan, Collins, Gorman and Holt again.)

Bell will start at left back.

I think the starting line up last night is the one that will start in Bray, but with Rowe in instead of McPhee, that why McDonnell rested Fahey, PD and Maguire last night

------------------ Quigley ------------------

Mahon ---- Kenna ----- McNally ---- McAuley

Murphy --- McDonnell --- Dicker --- O'Donnell

------------ Martin ---- Murphy ------------

Dupuy may well start up front if he recovers from injury but I'm going with Murphy because he's played in the friendlies so far.

You sure you're not from some tabloid doing more lazy research for an eL magazine, pete?! :p

Wouldn't disagree much with that. Defence and keeper is pretty much a certainty. Up front, you can't really tell - John Brophy's been figuring a lot in the friendlies, which is a bit of a surprise. Haven't seen Paul Byrne yet, though he's been knocking them in for the various college teams. Hard to know why Mahon's putting certain players on those teams though - whether it's good or bad. Looks like Anto Murphy on the wing, though I would have thought Newguy or Podgo would make more sense...

Asokuh - Bradley - Boyle - Minnock

Rossiter - Gorman - Funston - McGrenaghan

Breen - McHugh

Gorman is actually suspended for the first game, so I think you could see McGrenaghan pushed into the middle and Ryan McGavigan starting on the left.

He has signed for the season alright. Started against Waterford and came on as a sub against St.Pats in the preseason games.
We have a lot of competition for midfield this season, so I guess he will be probably be in and out of the side as the season progresses. I would not consider him to be the main man in the middle of the field.

Probably, nobody really knows. You could make a very very good team out of Shels players not involved in that.

WTF!! No Davy Mul.

Ah well you know what Rennies like, jobs for the boys and all that. Can you honestly see him dropping Breener(no matter how bad he is).Davy Mul's best position is either rightback or centre-half,havent seen much of Finn but from what i've heard Mul won't take his place in midfield ahead of him!!!!!!

Well byt the looks of the pre-season starting line-ups no,although personally from what I've seen of them I'd have Heffernan in the side ahead of "The Mullet"Yelverton!!!!!
