I made several posts about this months ago about how since the new site a lot of the eL stuff disappeared leaving us with basically an out of date table and little else. It now seems the site has brought back most stuff from the old site. There is now a link again to both cups, all past league tables, all club details, last year's results and an as of yet empty page for next year's fixtures.

I still don't like this site and preferred the last one but it seems they have returned all that they left on the old one. Was it our complaints or was it always part of a lazy plan to copy stuff over to the new site? Who knows.

I'd say it is more to do with the webmaster and the swings and round-about that the FAI have the poor fĂșcker on ..... I'd say they have completely wrecked the guys head at this stage. Have to say though .... the site is quality, it just hasn't been very pro-eL up until now is all.

I love the formatting with the tables. Looks like webmaster was on the tear the night before

Lets see how long before Cork City manager updated... (http://www.fai.ie/staticarticle.asp?hlid=244014) Obviously they don't read their own "Dolan sack" or "Richardson new boss" stories on fai.ie

FAI.ie is IMO very poor layout. I;m not saying i could do better but its not my job...

Lol, it's lifted from the former site. Don't get me wrong, I am not praising the quality. But they somehow dumped most of the stuff from the old site and I and others sent them several e-mails in I reckon August highlighting the fact. After months I gave up going there until a post of yours sent me back. I have to say our neighbours up North have a very decent site in comparison and it is soley dedicated to the league.

It was always the plan, but the affiliates ( of which the eircom League is one) didn't get their fingers out.

Now I am looking for the DDSL Under 13 B tables and the FAI site doesn't have them. :D Then again, the DDSl are only an affiliate just like the eL so why do the eL get all that content on the FAI site? ;)

LOL, its changed already! :D They must have an eye on here alright! Maybe we should have a sticky thread 'What the FAI needs to sort out'?

They have Compaq down for our Sponsors instead of the Radisson who have sponsored us for the last 3-4 years

AND

our away kit is down as being a Navy blue jersey, it's actually light blue and white stripes

Clearest indication of how much priority they put on domestic football is that they have Eircom League seventh on their list of links. That's after 'Competitions', which puts the Cup, but also the Junior Cup etc., ahead of the league.

You'll be waiting - our honours list doesn't include our First Division win from 1994/95!

Yeah well when they had practically nothing for eL they had a quite detailed section for Junior football done from the start.
