Right, time for my annual anoraking!

Only 4 clubs seem to have confirmed kit suppliers for next season and no new jerseys released yet.

Cork City Adidas (Nike)
Derry City Adidas (Hummel)
Longford Town Macron (Legea)
Sligo Rovers Joma (Joma)

I'm sure theres some with the same supplier and jersey as this year but thats all I can find so far.

It seems this time last year a lot more had announced kits/sponsors

Any info please reply.

Thanks,

Titan

Dundalk are still with CX+ and are launching the 2018 season home jersey on Friday .

I'm almost sure they will be retaining Drogs also as they only moved to supply them from last season. This company seem to be expanding (Irish Athetics being the latest) and they had an interesting punt on another football side last summer, Coleraine FC, who are currently well ahead in the Irish League.

Same kits as last season?

Cobh signed a three year deal with Joma lasting until the 2019 season. New kits this year but no idea of any launch date. Hopefully soon to get some merchandise out before Christmas but I'd be surprised.

Harps would have stayed with same home kit, but Joma are no longer producing that design. A pain as I think most loved it.

Finn Harps announce KN Group as new main sponsor. Sneaky view of white away kit there too. Not the best view of it, but essentially a plain white away strip next season.

Pretty much an exact copy of the nike template bray and athlone had last season.

Not too impressed with that myself. The first thing I thought of when I saw it was the Bray kit.

Titan

Oh dear. That can’t be it. Can it? It’s utter dross. Poor version of a poor Nike template that about 50 pro clubs had around Europe last year.

I think it looks decent, Bray & Athlone's Nike kits of the past two seasons are a black shirt with a splash of either green or light blue so it's no comparison

Why would Dundalk be playing in black and white stripes ?!

We played in worse, a black and white 'blackburn style' top around 93/94, loads loved it, I didn't. If the leaked top is the one for next season, I`m 50/50 on it, which seems to be the opinion of most so far. Would prefer to see more photos, the actual launch is at 4.30 today before making final opinion.

Some quality players in the top would be nicer !

I kind of like that Dundalk one, but I agree that it's a rip off of the Nike version. CX make good quality jerseys though.

CX made an inquiry to supply Cork City towards the end of last season I heard, it was considered but Cork thought they were 'too involved' with Dundalk and it went no further. I can see that point to be honest.

Now if only they had signed a pre contract........................

I looked back on it after seeing the comments on the last page and I was thinking, "That's not half bad"...then I scrolled down. I hate a busy shirt. Yuck.

I thought it might grow on me, but it’s a bit of a stinker. Too like that Nike template. The shirt would be immeasurably improved by the removal of the trim and the non-committal stripes. Give me the Blackburn-style one any day.

The Colorado Caribous LOL. And Denver was basically one big bus stop in 1978 from what I gather. Can't even imagine the crowds at the matches......

Worst thing about the Dundalk shirt is the thin black bands on the sleeves.

Apart from that I think it's nothing special but nothing terrible either.

That new Dundalk shirt is brutal. Looks like that by-product from when a zebra mates with a horse.

Can't make its mind up whether it's a white shirt or a striped one. Awful.

Has Anthony Buttimer given his approval to the Dundalk jersey? He's not going to be happy that it looks like two different jerseys at the top and bottom.

Edge of the seat stuff every time there is a new jersey. Is any bookie offering odds on thick the green and white hoops will be or the guys wearing them?

The new Pats kit is lovely, although the club seemingly either hiring JJ Abrams or whoever it is editing the images finding the lens flare filter in photoshop doesn't do the pics any favours!

In fairness they manage to change the detail enough to make it look different but short of a new sponsor it's small changes......tbh I wouldn't want a radical change.

It was aimed at Rovers fans who might want to go down and see it being released and to get in ahead of any "any sign of the new Rovers home kit" questions. Sorry you deemed it not important enough though, I'll run all future posts through you first from now on:rolleyes:
