So it seems the DDSL is looking at moving u17 and u18 back to Winter football after a brief flirtation with calendar year seasons. With most Leagues wrapping up around now this would mean no competitive football til next September for these age groups, surely an unsustainable gap?

Why wouldn't they try an interim season?

I only got the information from our club, very surprised they're giving up on calendar year football so soon since it's FAI policy. I imagine they'll have to come up with some interim measure as they surely can't leave lads without football til next September.

I haven't heard, I can only guess the clubs didn't like calendar year football.

Heard there is going to be a shake up of sorts in Dublin schoolboy football. SDFL merging with DDSL at end of the year.
