You can move this topic if it's covered elsewhere. Our club received a number of tickets for next Tuesday's game. Among the order was an adult and child ticket (€40 and €20) for a lad who was bringing his kid. Unfortunately he can't go now and another 2 people are looking for the tickets. However both are adults. Do you think there will be any problem if one of them uses the child ticket next week?

I think they could be left out in the cold, Siberian.

I thought all the 'turnstiles' were electronic and tickets were just scanned. I was hoping they wouldn't meet a contrary bloke who would make an issue out of this on such a big night. I'll suggest they have a back up plan, 'i was going to bring my child but he got sick and i didn't want to waste the ticket............................'

Yeah, it'd probably be okay going in I guess. And I presume it would be too busy going through the usual ticket access points for a steward to notice. Sometimes they ask you to show the ticket when you arrive at your block so they can direct you to your seat, just to be wary of that.

I know a guy who uses a child's season ticket very regularly at Villa Park!

just say that your toe-rag of a young fella must have took your adult ticket leaving you with the child one, and that he went in ahead with someone else, but I doubt anyone will bother about it.

I bought a childs tkt for the norn iron game in Basel (offloading it tonight/face value plus pint :)), shouldnt be a problem as most turnstiles have scanners these days and with the big crowds moving through they wont notice. Also on the ticket apart from the 20 swiss franc price difference, there is nothing else to show that its a children's ticket. i wouldn't worry

If you are in the upper deck I'd work out where you are going in relation to the tunnel from the concourse to minimise interaction with the stewards.

Might not be a bad idea for both of you to come and go from the seat a few times with the adult ticket so the steward sees both your faces
