Harry not coming back, cherrie, greene on the move, I'm sure there is loads more players trying to get away from Bray after the laughter this season. I can't blame anyone wishing to leave. How many supporters will return next year.

Cherrie, Sullivan, Kenna, McCabe, Pender, Steacy are the only ones listed on the PFAI tansfer list.

I believe Greene was on a 2-year contract.

Can't see anyone signing until a manager is announced and funds are secured.

Solas (Sponsor) have also left so not sure if there a new sponsor yet. Lots of uncertainty!

Things are very quiet, which is worrying. No word of a new manager - not even a rumour.
I wonder is Liam OBrien interested or qualified?

Also no talk of players signing or re-signing, when all other Premier clubs seem to be making steady progress and at least some announcements.

If we do exist next year, the new manager will be at a major disadvantage if they are cobbling together a squad with a couple of weeks to go. The new season is starting earlier this time too.

When is licencing due to be announced. It would not be fair for things to drag on - if Galway were to be given our place, they deserve time to prepare.

The fact that there is no conclusion to the betting allegations is also hugely frustrating for everybody - it really should be sorted out at this stage.

Missing out on a few decent players as well. Would have liked to see Webby back but he's signed for Waterford. Can't sign any players till a Manager is appointed. Needs to happen soon.

You can count us out on the 'making steady progress' front anyway. We are losing good players and not replacing them.

Missed out on Stephen McGuinness now. Only hope now is most of last years squad will re-sign when we eventually get a Manager.

Peter cherrie was told that Bray didn't want him for next season, maybe now he might get a call since they lost out with Stephen Mc Guinness.

Its a joke what is going on down there, no announcements, no info on season tickets.... nothing...

Can't blame the players for leaving and getting other clubs, no manager there to decide anything. And for telling Cherrie he wasnt wanted, should that not be the job of the new manager?

Tony Cousins linked to the managers job.

He did well with Longford in the beginning.

Totally agree that it should have been the manager to decide if Cherrie stayed. Can only assume it was for financial reasons. There are not too many experienced keepers available in the League that are available for next season.

I think the name of this thread should be " who's in next season " no manager no players no response from any e-mails and still no white smoke from the Carlisle.

Seen on Twitter that manager is rumoured to be announced tomorrow and looks like it will be Tony Cousins... I will believe it when I see it.... At this point I would take anyone!!

Agree, would take anyone at this stage. Other clubs have announced pre-season friendlies for the first week of January already.

Seems to be a power struggle down at the Carlisle, Mulvey and the O Connors want different managers, can someone not do what's best for the club instead of there own ego..

Last Christmas we were signing Dylan Connolly on a 2 year deal and we had 3/4 or more of the squad signed up.

This year we have no manager, despite Harrys decision being announced 3 months ago, and we have 5 players signed up.
No coach despite having a very good one last year - have we tried to keep him?
No new sponsor announced - no new kit - no season tickets on sale.
This year the league is starting earlier - training? pre-season friendlies?
We seem to be a shambles - the elephant in the room for the league. As a result Galway also don't know what division they will be in.

Players are leaving every week - this is a bad sign considering none of them appear to be owed money from last year and they were on good money.
If we had qualified for Europe would Ryan Brennan, Karl Moore, Anto Flood, Tim Clancy and Jason Marks moved so quickly if they were being paid? 2 of them have gone to non-league despite being fully paid! There is only one way this is heading. I cant help feeling it would have been far better for McGettigans to have gotten control 2 years ago!

Dave Mackey finally named as Bray manager, no disrespect to Dave but I was hoping for a stronger more established manager. Can't see players flocking to join Bray, hopefully cherrie and others might join back.

Gary McCabe linked with Cabo!

Can't see that happening. Too good for the first division. Hopefully he can be persuaded to stay with Bray.

There's more chance of him signing for Cabo than back with Bray. In the sense that one is possible, no matter how remote, and the other isn't.

didnt Pat Devlin sign Gary McCabe originally in Garys first spell with Bray?

McCabe has so much to offer in the Prem! No way he'd drop down to the 1st no matter who signed him. Could do a job for anyone in the division in my opinion.

I don't see clubs queuing up to sign him though, he's a free agent.

He's on a 2 year with Bray so Rovers would have to pay a transfer fee to get him.

Buckley gone to Bohs which is no surprise. Will be interesting to see what signings are going to be announced tomorrow night. Hopefully most of last years squad who have not left can be resigned. If we can get Cherrie, Douglas, Foran, Kenna, Salmon and Pender back along with the few on 2 year deals it would give some experience to help young players that will come in.

A lot more positive now!!! I would imagine a number of them had other options but must have recieved guarantees that finances were in place..

Hopefully we can keep Cherrie as well, best goalkeeper we have had in a long time!

Cherrie gone to Cork, can't blame him really. Any goalkeepers out there looking for match every Friday please contact the Carlisle grounds.

Bray Head

I presume Cork offered him a better deal than Bray. He'd be guaranteed a game at Bray but may be no. 2 in Cork. Not sure where that leaves Bray now for a keeper as I don't think there are many experienced keepers still without a club.

In another tweet after Bray announced the signing of five more players, he says Sexton dismissed the 'trialist' thing as 'red tape'.
