Harry Kenny stepping down from Bray at the end of the season, sure why would he stay with all the crap going on, the start of the exodus. Why would any player or manager come to Bray next season when those 2 Muppets are running the club.

Could still get to Europe.

Qualify for Europe and suffer 'relegation' (for being naughty, was a lot of chat about at the game tonight) in the same season. Will be some achievement

Dream Team had nothing on the LOI.

No one's been murdered this season at least. I hope.

Someone will bet on that happening, and then . . .

Wouldn't mind him down Suirside if Rennie decides to go back to his FAI role.

Other than the fact they are the FAI how can you justify that sort of punishment for Bray when Athlone weren't hit with the same. Surely that opens it up for an appeal if it were to happen.

Maybe because there were more players allegedly involved? It all seems like a pretty standard LOI rumour though.

In what situations is a club charged with it/investigated for it, rather than just an individual player/players?

What makes the difference?

One player in involved is likely to be viewed as rogue behaviour. Several players would likely be seen as a team thing therefore attracting collective punishment. It's a bit arbitrary thoug h and the fai could go either way.....all the more reason to not be doing stupid things like barring RTE. But the people running it have long ago sailed on that ship

The clue in H's statement is that he is going to concentrate on his FAI work. FAI gave him a choice: Bray or Abbotstown. The latter signs the cheques, so ...

There was no footage of Bray V Galway on soccer republic, which is most unusual. Also no mention of Harry Kenny's resignation either!
I heard at the match on Saturday that there was tension between RTE staff and some members of the Bray staff at the previous home match. I wonder is there something to it?

RTE radio 1 did commentary on the game on Saturday so it's strange that they let the radio crew in but not the tv crew. I was just more surprised that Bray didn't announce Kenny's resignation at half time.

I was told about an alleged incident last month between a prominent Bray official and an RTE journalist. Don't have much detail but apparently the journalists wanted to talk to manager and players without club officials present and this was not a suggestion welcomed by said officials.

so could there be a situation where 5/6 players are involved in betting.
FAI goes with team punishment. Bray club ad fans suffer as a result of lets just say, relegation and then those players are free next year to do as they like, i.e play in the premier again ?

Players will be banned for at least a year.

It was after the Limerick game.

And it was hilarious.

There was a camera tug of war.
