Result from today: Ireland Women 0, Mexico 0. Played in what looked like a very high temperature, manager Colin Bell didn't commit much forward and as a result Mexico had most of the ball but didn't really look like scoring in the first half. Ireland had no shot in the first half and had only 34% possession. Second half opened up a bit more but with Ireland still conceding space. Mexico hit the top of the crossbar but I'd say Amanda Budden had it covered and also the foot of the post. Only chance for Ireland came when Amber Barrett had a run-in on goal from the half-way but a heavy touch meant that the Mexican keeper was able to collect. 0-0 at full-time. Well done to FAI/Third Level Football for providing a really good stream.
