The days of us going out with realistic hopes of winning games like this seem a distant memory already due to our excellent impression of a skydiver who's parachute has failed to open of late.

It would me do to not lose on Saturday, to not lose and not concede would be bloody lovely.

I really hope that we win and we will be there on Saturday supporting the Superblues, but i cannot see us getting 3 points or even keeping a clean sheet.

Bohs are absolute dog****.

And I can see a couple of scenarios where they will absolutely DESTROY us.

The child molester will score five goals against that back four.

How that p***k is even allowed play is beyond me. But with the dark clouds looming over the Markets Field these days you darent open your mouth for fear of POS fury and a possible ban from the ground. The club is turning into a farce.

The club is turning into a farce.

Noting a few pictures of the Arrivals sign outside in Shannon on FB wouldn't fix surely ;)

That's soooo true. God how I'd welcome one of those stupid posts now.

This is it like, not so long ago the club was under fire for how it was announcing signings, cheesy, etc, weren't our troubles small.

I nearly forgot about that whole new signing carry on. Can we blame that for the disastrous run we've been on 😁

That Fuad Sule guy will clean up in midfield and ensure our back 4 is under pressure for the game, and then Akinade will mangle us.

Bohs will come down and play on the counter attack. We need to make sure we don't give them space as Corcoran and Akinade will punish us. There is a reason they are better away from home. It suits them to soak up pressure.

Dozie caused them a lot of problems in the previous 2 games. He will be targetted very early in the game. Let's hope Jimmy McKell will take action.

If Galway, Sligo Rovers and Harps (Pats won't go down either way) lose tonight I'd be very happy with a point. Bohs still have an outside chance of 4th which should mean Europe. They will most likely qualify for the Irn Bru Cup.

A win would be huge and badly needed.

Poor ogbene. He gets no protection from the cork based referees anyway ha

We were fortunate enough in Dalymount in a scrappy contest, but we should get something out of this. A similar 2/3-0 loss as we suffered against much better teams recently would certainly cause even me to start considering McDonald's tenability, but I genuinely don't think that will happen. I fancy a score-draw.

I believe our captain is dropped and not because of performances, what next...

It's generally agreed here that Duggan appears to have given up, so what is it other than performances?

Any idea what's happening with our Henry .. Is he injured, dropped or missing... given that he looked ****e anytime I've seen him, he's a drain on the old wage bill ..

Not sure what you'd be looking at but generally he's been very good and far better than Duggy this season. Granted I've missed a couple of away games this season but seen majority of games. Those away ones must be the ones you saw him playing poorly.

There will be a sizeable chunk of the BA missing tonight for certain reasons. We'll see how good the atmosphere in the MF will be now.

Heard about a BA boycott of sorts alright. Hate seeing this bull**** starting up again. Club needs to be spending is time on the squad, not starting another self-damaging fight with its fans.

Vital 3 points, failure to get a second with some very wayward shooting ensured a nervy finish. Was impressed with Berki and surprised he was subbed. Everyone put in a decent shift but Hery and O'Connor stood out for me.

I was disappointed in Berki. He worked hard alright and got up for a lot of headers but he slowed down a lot of attacks for us and he had a few opportunities to run in behind but came short killing the play. We were more dangerous on the counter when he went off.

I thought he was the out ball for our midfield on lots of ocassions and was one of the reasons we kept the ball much better than of late.

He was in fairness. Won't score many goals but is always offering an option and pulls defenders around.

He linked up very well with the forwards and wingers. Brought many players into the game. He closed down the Bohs players too. Tireless worker. I think he'll become more influential as he plays more.

Bad result for Bohs,Bad for the good Bohs fans,Bad night for the doubters,Bad performance from the witless Mckell,Bad for the fans calling for Freddy Hall then singing Clarkes name after pen save,Bad day for 95fms SSC,Bad night for the fans who stayed away and missed a great performance.

Yeah, was good Alan: I especially enjoyed Noel's numerous hops off the ref!

Badly needed injection of hope/positivity/reality tonight. Only listening along of course, but sounded like Berki, Hery, and Whitehead all did well. Dropping Duggan was a big call, but worked. If Ogbene, Coughlan and Tosi had their shooting boots on, it would have been a rout to make a mockery of any fears we have of relegation. The fact that they didn't have those shooting boots on is a serious concern, but I'm not going to let it bother me too much tonight. Get three points off Harps - hopefully after dumping them out of the cup - and things will be looking very good for top tier football next year.

What a monumentally important win....we've stopped the rot. Beat Harps x 2 over the next two weeks and Neil McDonald is the man 👍

In fairness Harps are never easily beaten... Putting aside the Harps manager is like something out of Lord of the Rings, he always has them well drilled and giving 100%. We even struggled with Harps in our League winning year .

Brilliant atmosphere at the game the other night, very enjoyable. The nervous tension in the ground was evident but it was nice to see the crowd encouraging the team throughout.

The 3 or 4 ringleaders from the Blue Army weren't missed. I've noticed that the majority of the Blue Army consists of primary school children and teenagers. When the ringleaders start firing obscenities the children seem to follow suit, none of that the other day thankfully.
