was chatting to a few united and liverpool fans recently and asked them would they prefer united/liverpool to win the champions league or irelnad to get to the world cup
most wanted to see their club WIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

That debate has already been done to death on previous foot.ie threads....for all those suffering from amnesia......think everyone from the southern wilderness would rather their team won every tinpot trophy in sight,than Ireland won another game,FFS!

Seeing as Limerick won't be winning the CL this year or next it'll have to be Ireland getting to the World Cup. :)
By the time Limerick get the chance to win the CL, Ireland will probably have won the World Cup by then so I will change my mind then. :D
