The champions, without a win in two, look to complete a clean-sweep against a Limerick side without a win in three.

If you can't make the trip, I'll be in situ at Oriel, to provide live audio analysis from 19.40pm. Bookmark www.mixlr.com/limerick-soccer-live to avoid missing out.

I think we'll lose this one. 3-1.

Ya we'll lose. Even with the players that are gone we probably would have lost to Dundalk and Derry.

How far from the drop will we be Saturday night?

Morale is shot to s@&t. Getting rid of so many players has really hit the squad. Dumping Robbie seems to have solved all our defensive problems. I'm afraid we're in trouble.

Definitely morale that lost us Derry and Dundalk away.

Not saying that but its a contributing factor. No reason we couldn't have got two draws? We already drew away to Derry and narrowly lost away to Dundalk.
The team seem to have run out of ideas and lost the ability to defend.

Thanks to those who tuned in. Thought Willie Boland did a fantastic job, and really enjoyed his company. Replay of the broadcast, and the usual analysis, to follow tomorrow.

Two guesses who gave away the free kick that lead to first goal. How Shane Tracy isn't starting is beyond me or if whoever is left back for the 19s if he's not better than release him now.

Barry Cotter got whipped after an hour too, was he that bad?
And the bus broke down on the way to the ground.
When it rains it pours boys.

Barry got injured. Two full backs so far out of position over and over again. In fairness to defence must be hard when the ball doesn't spend more than 2 seconds up front no hold up play whatsoever just coming straight back at us over and over.

We are going down lads. Galway and Pats going to finish above us easy.

Freddy for the rest of the season. Untill we're safe, barry cotter or other 19s have no place being near that squad. O'conor is terrible but infront of him mr cameron im sorry pack your bags totally ineffective for yet another game.
7 points from the upcoming 3 home games or its relegation for us

But the board don't need to make a statement because all is OK 💥💣

A statement about what exactly? I don't know why any board in any business would make a statement saying they've problems behind the scene (bar Bray and that was a cry for help)
All it would do is create more panic and tension and any chance of sponsorship or new investors gets diminished.

On another note, some of the comments on Twitter and Facebook are crazy. Dundalk are the defending champions, anything other than a thrashing was ok last night. The season isn't defined by games like that. It's the mini league we're in with Galway, Sligo, Pats, Drogheda and Harps that we need to win.

More panic and tension,I think your in a state of denial .. the dressing room is gone, the players shot to pieces, the board burying it's head. If nothing is wrong come out and say it... The mystery investor wants shot of the current crop and it's ludicrous decisions and partnerships , while internally the usual suspects are jostling for position in the event that POS relinquishes control, something he won't do , which is strange as he had no problem leaving Jack Mac on his arse when he ran out of dough. A cry for help .. that's overdue... In a nutshell we have a board incapable or unable to run and finance the club, personally I think inept and unable ( see recruiting and interview policy) with an investor rapidly running out of patience who will only invest if the current crew do one ... but you know what they say after a holocaust, the usual suspects will survive.... the jostling is well under way.

Looks like we're in freefall to the first division alright. Badly need some new blood in, this current bunch won't have the stomach for a relegation battle.

The poor dears. Are they ok? Do they need a hug? I feel so sorry for them that they are in this situation that is their fault.

What they need is to understand why the side is being ripped apart .. but again, if it's their fault, the assumption being they are not good enough .. we'll then who takes responsibility for that .....

Which backroom staff got screwed?

You should get on to Mike aherne live 95 he'd be of a similar mind to you on a lot of things going from what I'm hearing on the twittersphere and all that. And I'm sure he'd love a bit of info. He'd have listenership of 100s this forum is read by maybe nine people none of them important.

Martin Russell. It's hardly not their fault long before anyone was released they were putting in absolute joke performances including Jaap Williams. We've lost to Derry and Dundalk away since the squad was "ripped apart" what's the excuse for the poor old players for the nonsense we have seen before those games?

Finally seeing the clearer picture, we'll done. Now take a step back and apply some "root cause analysis" Who appointed and interviewed MR. and deemed the great and good of Irish football too irrelevant to even reply to when they expressed interest, in what was a plumb well financed job at the time. Regarding players .. is it DC fault he's played at RB, OC at LB, TW not good enough, Cameron given an 18 month deal and he's ****e ( better junior players in town) Lee J played all over the place .. goalkeepers playing behind a shaky defense, and young Barry getting hung out v Dundalk . Not ready yet.... I could go on but you bore me..

I am in full agreement with you that the board are hugely at fault but I am not for a second excusing the players either from some of the shambolic performances we have had to endure this season. These are still full time professional footballers being paid to do this they don't get a pass cos the board haven't a clue.

Scapegoat= a person who is blamed for the wrongdoings, mistakes, or faults of others. I am fairly sure Dave is being blamed for mistakes which are very much his own, out of position or not.

Truly awful stuff, mcdonalds style of play has been dreadful were a zero threat up front and our style of play is so predictable hoof the ball up and hope something happens , did ok for 15 mins but you always felt once dundalk scored the flood gates would open and by god they did should have been 5 or 6 we gave up in the second half , we say it week after week Dave o Connor is not a full back does not look comfortable there same as Barry cotter is not either ,Duggan and lee j awful lee j spent the whole second half giving away the ball Cameron has showed nothing since he came in what ever about ability no effort pushed off the ball way too easy , dundalk streets ahead of us mceleney ran the show such a quality player very impressed with Dylan Connolly aswell, the only team that's worse than us at the moment is Drogheda were in big trouble don't know where our next win is coming from we look so stale , id try u19 players at this stage to freshen it up we look so short all over the field

As much as I think Duggan was having a poor enough season it must be soul crushing for him and Lee J being stuck in this team both are undoubtedly very talented but where is the help? Imagine being any half decent player like both of them are and having a look around literally behind em crap in front of em crap left and right crap. Lies after lies after lies those two lads have been told and if either or both of em leave then that is literally the only two people we have worth a thing out the door. And why would they stay?
