With the huge boost to prize money, we could almost expect a higher sponsorhip deal next time around.

and next time, lets call the league the <Sponsor> League of Ireland.

Does the deal agreed between the FAI and eircom, a few weeks ago, not include league sponsorship? Or was that only for International sponsorship?

In a similar line of thinking surely more TV exposure should help clubs or at least the big ones when it comes to negotiating individual sponsorship deals.

could possibly be just the international team, the FAI have little to do with the league.
