Newmarket 4-2 Everton Good performance by Eeverton today against a strong side in really poor conditions and newmarket fully deserved the win and defeat taking in good spirit by a young everton team who will only learn from today..Pearse celtic also lost out with alot of Ex everton players and 1 or 2 illegal players i believe no Cork teams left in this competition but a good munster junior team gave their all...

All Limerick final to look foward to after Janesboro,s last ditch win today ,tough on Newmarket losing in injury time especially as they had good chance before Boro,s winner.Not a classic Boro on top first half,Celtic in the second,strong wind did not help.

Curious lads, what's your opinion on the location of the final being dependent on where the two teams are from?
While I agree that it would be a bit of a nuisance dragging Pike and Janesboro to Turner's Cross, but wouldn't having it on there every year create a bit of buzz around getting to the final? E.g. the excitement of getting to the final of the FAI and getting to play in the Aviva.

It’s a great idea, gives the competition some real prestige.

But you’d always get the same complaints about being dragged to Cork to play your near neighbors.
