Apologies if there is already a thread but I think the Irish amateur team (Munster/Leinster) deserve a mention for reaching the final of the UEFA REgions Cup and hope to become the first team to successfully defend their title when they play Croatia (Zagreb) this weekend. What they lacked in flair and technical ability they certainly made up for with organisation, work rate and dedication. Between the qualifiers in Italy late year and the finals in Turkey this year Ireland have conceded just 1 goal in 6 games. Fantastic achievement and credit to manger Gerry Davis and his team.

It is actually Munster/Connaught and it was a superb achievement.
