Roy O'Donovan's red card tackle on the keeper in Australia is so bad it nearly defies belief. Hope I can post a link here:-

Paddy Barrett and Richie Ryan are both at FC Cincinnati this season and could well consider it an audition for the MLS next season after it's been announced that they will be the expansion team for 2019.

Dessie Hutchinson's brother goes by the name of JJ and plays for the Waterford footballers. They had a relatively good win last weekend against Wexford and he was on Colm Parkinson's Joe.ie GAA podcast. Parkinson asked him for an update on the brother and JJ said that he's in Ibiza on a holiday at the moment but his agent has a few offers on the table for him to mull over so he'll be making a decision when he comes back. Will be interesting to see where he ends up as I thought word was he did well in the EFL Cup game he played alongside fellow Waterford man Jayson Molumby earlier in the season. He might have another go at a lower league side in England, although his lack of loan experience might stand against him.

as always, with the 2017/18 season over in England and Scotland, going off topic (within reason) is fine until the start of the new season
