I know this is out of reach for alot of supporters but there was talk about organising charter flights to away games such as Derry,Harps or Dublin.Would be great to just fly in for game and out again after the game. The time in travelling is a pain and no need to stay overnight either.Just throwing this open to people and the supporter clubs.Thanks.

I think this would be great espescially for midweek games. No need to take time off work and if we were to fly with the team it would reduce costs for the club as there would be less empty seats on the flight.

Should try one for the setanta cup game against portadown.

Depart Cork 4.00pm Arrive Belfast 5.00 > Coach from Airport to Portadown (escorted by psni to ensure of no traffic or "other" problems ) Arrive at 6, a few pints and away we go.............

An excellent idea for all you Corkonians to fly to Belfast for the matches. Any truth in the rumour that the flights are being sponsored by a Mr Cunningham, who will be supplying extra large kit bags to the team, so that they can bring back some packages for him. :D :D :D

This has been mentioned in the last few days, flying with the team for the Portadown game.

Lets hope it comes off because that's really the only way fans are going to be able to get there 'safely'. If you know what I mean.

that sounds class from a fans point of view, but can't see it working on a players level- they'd need at least 2-4 hours recovery from a flight as well as normal warm ups-think its the cabin pressure that affects players

Have you not sampled the Kinsale Rd Rodeoabout?

Norn iron drivers have nothing to apologise for - not when compared with the homicidal maniacs on the loose down here

According to a report in todays Irish Examiner, Brian Lennox is looking into the possibility of chartering a flight for supporters to Belfast for the Portadown Match.

Tried Jet2 lads?

There's quite a few of us from Portadown flying down for the game from Belfast on the morning business flight at 7.00am & then back the next day at 8.30am.
