what a disaster... first home game of the season means p!ss up time and fairly savage session for the end of cold turkey....

dont mind that we have shels, rovers, bohs and waterford away twice

the biggest disaster is that our first home game of the season is on good friday

the league must definitly pay for this

lot of disgruntled city fans me reckons

Was just thinking of that myself, disaster.
If we had our own club bar we'd be sorted.
Probably make a packet too.
Lads has anyone out there got any suggestions as to how we can combat this problem.
And no, cans of Hofmeister up the back of the Shed don't count.

you only need a licence to sell drink. What about if our official beer came on board and put tempoary taps in the programme hut and gave it away for free.

no problem :D :D :D

A quick splash of holy water from Noelle and she'll absolve all wrong doing. :D

I wonder if City would get a licence to setup a marque tent at the St Annes End? Guinness as official beer would surely have orgainsation to arrange. Being a dry day 'n all would make a packet & boost attendance. People would be restricted to drinking inside the tent so could control kids getting drink & not have people staggering around the ground.

charge E30 for an adult ticket with free* beer for each adult!

*getting round the technicality of the whole "selling needing licence" thing :D

yeah, but they can control themselves. (if they're not too busy abusing other races)

The Church in London sells tokens, which just so happens you can trade in for beer and stuff. Seems to work for them every Sunday morning, maybe we should try it at the cross !! :D

Unfortunately, they would contact the Munster FA, who in turn will contact their Insurance Company, who will consider the prospect of thousands of people drinking on a sloping terraced area, and say 'no chance'...

Even if someone did think of a way around the Liquor Licensing laws, insurance will be a bigger stumbling block...

Thats why only allowed to drink inside the tent. Even get some weak beer & most ipeople would hardly notice anyway. The IRFU do it for Lansdowne, Thomand Park etc...

Yes indeed, fellow comrades, this is all Michael Hayes fault, and the FAI. They must pay for their incompentance!
Looks like cans at the game so.
