10th minute penalty for Derry.

Linfield equaliser in the 83rd minute.

Appears as if Derry dominated for most of the game and had the majority of chances.

Hopefully someone who was at the game can add more when they get back from the pub :)

Derry did dominate, I hate to say because it will be expected but hey, they did. It was a second string Linfield side so I imagine they will be pretty happy with the result.
Regarding the style of play, Longford play with attacking midfielder's and if tonight was any indication of Jeffries choice of tactics then Longford will rip them apart. Derry were found lacking in midfield, I thought and the main threat from Derry came from down the flanks, often thwarted by sliding tackles in the snow sodding grass - to much annoyance as it was viewed as malice by the crowd. :p
It's really hard to judge how Longford/Linfield will compare but I do expect the Longford midfield to make the difference.

Bugger it, I hope they draw anyway and Glens beat them both! :D
