heard this this morning

some man videos the lotto tv show with roman colums from one week and buys the "winning numbers" from that week and prentends as the tape is running the next week that he's won the lotto.
this he does to his wife :eek:

seems a bit like the opening scene of waking ned.
the main character is in the sittin room and the wife is in the kitchen.
he wants the wife to bring in the apple tart so he pretends he has all the lotto no as der being called out. after the last no is called out he starts jumpin up and down and starts tearing up the ticket which the wife thinks is the winner.
in the end he got what he wanted the apple tart

people on an airplane descending into the airport in L.A. were startled to see
(in 90 foot high letters) a sign on the ground outside saying "welcome to chicago" :eek:


local residents thought it would be funny and put the sign on a local race course. :D
