I dont think he is "against it", simply wondering, like myself, how a league being called the Roy Keane Premier Division is "good for Cork football"?

Does what a league is called influence it in any way, shape or form?

its good that we can have somebody of his stature to call it after, kids will love to play in a league called the "roy keane" league

Fair enough. I wonder will he be involved in awarding the league champions their trophy etc? That would certainly be great for the kids.

would be excellent for the kids....... TBH when i was a kid i would have much preferred to tell people i played in the roy keane league

would have been a lot better than telling people i played in the t.s.b. league

Yes, but Corner, when you were a kid, no-one knew who Roy Keane was ;).

Somehow I doubt many Cork players who will make the grade in the UK/Europe will attribute their success to their U13 league being named after Roy Keane.

Thread split, and Roy Keane debate moved to rubbish. We've been over it ooo's of times at this point.

Stay on topic please
