Anyone know who is still in it? I haven't been paying much attention to it this year, until I heard that Waterford had beaten Carlow this weekend to get into the quarters this weekend.

Who else are in the quarters, and any word on who looks handy this year?

Kilkenny are away to Donegal this coming weekend and Limerick travel to play the AUL. Not sure if these are quarter final games or not.

The winner of the AUL/Limerick will probably be favourites to win it out although who knows as last years winners were Clare....who are incidently out of it this year.

don't think the aul or limerick league take it too seriously otherwise they should be winning it most years, between them, easily the two strongest leagues in the country with the limerick league slightly the stronger at the moment

i agree widow, players dont get looked after at o/t games and as other threads suggest they get suspended if they refuse to play and line out with their clubs which after all are the people that look after them, its a joke i dont even go watch them anymore,

Horrendous trip from Buncrana to Waterford city. Sounds like a nine hour bus journey to me.

Apparently it was a dreadful game of football. Waterford will have it handy in the semi going from what I heard.

Study the Club V County thread that I have opened and see what you can evaluate from your comments and a newspaper article that I copied onto the site. Whatever about players getting suspended, I heard of clubs being threatened with points deductions for players not playing for their league.

Was speaking with some of the Wexford Oscar Traynor players there last week...Apparently, the night before the game against Galway they went on the rip in Galway city...Worst part is, it was with the manager...!!! They ended up finishing drinking at 03:30 in the morning after some lads had ended up in strip clubs......The manager, not surprisingly is for the high-jump.... :D :D
