Thornton got into the indo's Irish team of the week at the weekend, normally after a senior international it's that starting 11 that gets named, but he got in along with Clarke for the U-19's.

Did anyone see the U-21 game and did he play particularly well?

It bugs me when I only see him in and out of the Sunderland starting eleven, but I forget how young he is. Still plent yof time for him to become a real assett for us.
