Have to agree.
I thought Dream Team had gone way downhill over the past 2 years or so but the last two episodes have been class. Viv Wright's breakdown has been really well done and the twist at the end where we realised that his wife Chelsea wasn't really there was excellent.

fcuking hell i wanted to kill rebecca loos when i saw her on the ad for it last night... and the show is terrible... it's just degenerated into a sub-coronation street show, which just happens to have some footballers in it, so that means it's ok for fellas to like it... bullsh!t i say...

and i agree with Jon'o, hollyoaks is class.. best with the sound turned down though :)

Ive watched Dream Team since it started and it has gone way downhill. Did anyone see the preview of next week. It looks like the manager will play as many black players as poissible against Lazio so the fans will scream rascist abuse at them and Lazio will be kicked out!

Been watching it since it started myself. Even got the jersey as a present 2 years ago. Can't stop watching it now, even if the story's are getting worse (never seen so many people getting killed at a football club) :D

Bring back Nicky Peggs ;)

Fletch is still in it. Ray Whyte was the best manager the team had, but he's gone onto better things, from a premiership manager to a surgeon in Holby General

The best episode IMO was when Jamie held up the dressing room with a gun!

Yet as tall tales go
they don’t come any taller
than this wretch or felch or whatever he’s called.
He’s not even a real footballer.
It’s sad that life ain’t fair.
It’s sad it won’t get any fairer.
But nothings quite so sad as a dream team jersey wearer.

There’s two grand clubs in Manchester .
There’s no such place as Harchester !!!
Fine old sides by the Lagan, by the Liffey and the Lee.
There’s a great team on the Aire and a few more ‘cross the Mersey .
Tell the sad, sad man in the dream team jersey

Think I'm okay linking to this as it's my own
Someone Tell the Sad Man in the Dream Team Jersey.mp3 (http://www.gencodesigns.com/thepennywhores/dreamteam.mp3)

strangle the cast, get medieval on the writers and purge the sets with fire. Go ...go... Kill...Kill...Kill!!!!

Ah fair enough saints -caught me on a technicality. ;) As I re-read your post I see you got a jersey as a pressie. You don't indicate whetyer or not it's worn. Apologies.

Still a load of Sky sh1te though.

Was going to point out maself he gets away with it coz it was a pressie! Considered buying one maself but £40 is a bit steep........

If they did a goalkeeper one I could wonder round throwing people out of windows and speaking to imagenry lasses :D

Do they actually host matches against teams or just edit em in? If they actually host matches where do all the fans come from?

Very cleverly done-easy for sky though owning the premiership/their own news channels :D

Like the song says "it's mostly Goodison Park tinted Violet" -though I'm told they may also use the New Den (Millwall) and Walker Stadium (leicester).

I remember that the Beeb used to use Loftus Road for nearly everything that involved football in their Drama Department. Does anyone remember something called "Born Kicking" - a one off that they did in the 90s? A girl was signed to a team called something like Everham Park Rangers - had the QPR Jersies and all - any time they showed the crest it was EPR. They went on to win the FA cup with her netting a penalty as a sub, and went on to receive the cup in what looked worryingly like Loftus Road shot from odd angles if I recall correctly

got to say was really great stuff!
Genuinly felt emotions when when it all came out with Ryans x-ray.....and when the 'masterplan' screwed up after Deans cheering for the goal.........let's not relate to events today :o ..........anyone notice de Canio being portrayed as the hero-taking lit flares off the pitch and confronting racist fans as opposed to just...erm..."waving" to 'em  :D

There's one story line thats doing my head in. A few weeks ago Barker wanted Frank Stone dead and all the players couldn't stand him. The following week They're all best mates and Stone is playing in centre of midfield. The writers have a habit of just dropping story lines in the space of a week like they never happened

Thats my rant for the day :D

Players hated him cause he beat up Clyde and put him in hospital, then Stone Appologised to Clyde on front of all the players and they all liked him again..
Barker tried to sell Stone but Dean knew the team needed him badly so messed with medical records so he wouldn't be signed.. Barker was forced to play him cause they needed to win matches but still hates him..

how is that confusing pay closer attention :D

The players also hated him and were disgusted with him because of his games in the back of his car. Now they've forgotten all about it????

His medical records were NOT tampered with. HE decided not to sign for Portsmouth to try get back with his wife, then she left him. NOTHING to do with medical records. Portsmouth agreed to sign him.

They don't all know about that only Curtis and Barker know he had a fella in the car

They said he was medically unstable didn't they.. will look into it :D
EDIT: Yep your right on that one sorry, Its Curtis that was drugged before his second medical so he couldn't go to Charlton ..
Barker has to play him anyway cause he's one of the best players at the moment and they need him to get proboted and for Europe
Anyway Jodie's back this week and shes ment to be pregnant

As opposed to the talent of the storylines.

have to say fair play to them on talent of the cast...

It's goin down hill lately though.. They all have class bodies so I suppose that makes up for it
They need a few new fit players..

Ryan Naysmith is class, so was Tommy Valentine but he's gone now...
Fletch isn't half as nice as what he was in the first few seasons
Presley is a bit of alright ok..

Just waitin for them to find a cure for Davenports blindness and bring him back :D
